Since March 2015 Chewie has changed his diet over to Saracen Horse Feeds and with the help of their Senior Nutritionist Lizzie Drury MSc RNutr, Michael Bacon and their team, Chewie is a changed horse and no longer shows signs of discomfort following his colic scare, and his droppings are much improved!

He has been looking amazing all season, with a gleam to his coat and just looks a picture!

Our first big show was Royal Windsor in May, where Chewie looked and went very well, and finished 4th in a strong class.

Early in June we travelled to Arena Uk, Grantham for the Midland Counties Show. We had a wonderful day, Chewie won his race horse class, and later on in the day won Supreme Horse of the Show. What an achievement , it made our long drive home a lot shorter and you can see how pleased we were with him in the photo above.

Chewie recently went to a local agricultural show at Tenbury, where again for the second year running he won the Race Horse Class, we are so pleased with how well he is getting on a his new job as a Show Horse seems to be suiting him brilliantly. His next big show will be a Race Horse Qualifer for HOYS at Burghley Horse Trials, so fingers crossed he will go well there,  I will let you all know!!

All the team at Saracen Horse Feeds look forward to seeing Chewie, Robert and Claire at Burgley where we have a trade stand in the Horse Village.
