Well another busy month here at PG Eventing.

HollyPark Royale (Mitch) has been having a few easy weeks of just hacking, he has very much enjoyed having a break after competing at the Hartpury International Horse Trials last month.

Our lovely six year old Lucky Valentina (Lilly) has had a couple of runs over the last month. She only started her eventing career this year, and she is already proving to love her new venture into the eventing world. So far Lilly has done one BE80 and three BE90's, her dressage has been very consistent with scores ranging from 29.5 - 34. She has jumped some great showjumping rounds and jumping clear cross country every time. She has also had a couple of top 10 finishes.

HollyPark Canon (Pop's) and Ghost Town GT (Casper) have also had a trip out this month. We took them both to Keysoe where Casper jumped his first Novice. This was a very educational day for us to realise how far this giant horse has come. He did a nice dressage test and jumped a good showjumping round, although we were most impressed with how he came out cross country being super bold. He did have a slight moment where he lacked concentration at a skinny combination three jumps from home but still finished strong and bold. Pops went for his second Intermediate. He did a lovely dressage test for a 33 but unfortunately was very off colour in the showjumping, so I decided not to run him cross country.

Pops, Mitch and Casper are all entered for the Novice at Little Downham next month, and we are all very hopeful the three of them will have a good run and finish with some qualifying scores for next season.

We can't quite believe that the 2016 season is coming to an end already, where does the time go. Please tune in for next month's blog as we have a very exciting few weeks ahead before we go dressage divas for the winter.
