The event season for 2017 is well and truly underway, and it's nice to see everyone out enjoying their first event. We headed off to Poplar Park for our first run.

Casper was entered in the BE100 to give him a nice confident round.  He scored a personal best in dressage of 24, go Wonder Pony, followed by a lovely double clear. We got a few time penalties cross country, but we wasn't overly worried about that as this was our first time trialling a new bit in a competition environment. He finished 8th in his section, so great start for him this year.

Mitch had a run around the BE Novice. We had a slightly tense dressage test with a few excitable moments for a 35, 1 down showjumping and a very enthusiastic clear cross country with a little bit of time to finish just outside the top 10.

Our next stop is at Goring for Casper.

Our lovey youngsters have been enjoying some training at home and are both progressing well. Little Tyler even had his first pop over a fence last week, although a little bit like a gangly spider, he's happy to give anything a try love him.
