SUPER FIBRE CUBES are an easily digestible, high fibre cube, which are suitable to be fed in a variety of situations. They are cereal free, low in starch and sugar and provide a source of readily digestible fibre, which aids in the maintenance of a healthy digestive system. Based on "Super-Fibre" ingredients, they provide slow-release energy for exercise, as well as for weight maintenance.
Super Fibre Cubes high fibre formulation makes them ideal for supplementing the forage ration of horses and ponies when forage is in short supply, or of poor quality. They are also suitable to be fed to horses and ponies that are sensitive to dust and moulds to help maintain optimum respiratory health. SUPER FIBRE CUBES can be soaked to produce a mash that can be easily chewed for horses and ponies with compromised dental health or even to tempt the fussy feeder or to help maintain optimum hydration in performance horses.
SUPER FIBRE CUBES are fully fortified with vitamins and chelated minerals. These minerals can help with complementing natural stress resistance and the immune system, plus improving coat bloom and skin and hoof quality. In addition, soya oil is added to improve coat and skin condition.
Testimonials
SARACEN SHINE IS OUTSTANDING!
“I cannot recommend Super Fibre Cubes enough for competition horses. The results we have seen with Tantoni Dallaglio (aka Larry) are amazing. Not only do they provide him with the fuel to work whilst keeping him trainable and maintaining a fantastic topline but the Saracen Shine is outstanding. Larry is happy, looks amazing and is performing at international level and I have confidence that his gastric health is fully supported with a high fibre diet. Thank you Saracen”

"Super-Fibres" is the term used for fibre sources that are readily digested by the horse such as soya hulls, beet pulp and alfalfa (lucerne). These fibre sources provide a much higher calorie (energy) intake compared to ‘traditional’ fibre sources and can provide a comparable energy content to that of cereals. The use of ‘Super-Fibres’ within a ration helps to reduce the reliance on cereals to provide calories (energy) and will aid in the maintenance of a healthy digestive system. ‘Super-Fibres’ are lower in indigestible fibre when compared to oatfeed and wheatfeed and provide a controllable energy release.
Oatfeed is a rich source of beta-glucan which has been shown to have positive effects on the immune system, glycaemic response post feeding and on digestive health (Lindinger et al., 2017). Beta-glucan is a soluble fibre source that acts as a coating for the stomach lining and can help to regulate sugar release from the digestive system. It has also been shown to support immune response in performance horses (Paap & Roberti, 2014).
