Dr. Rebecca Mouncey, BVetMed PhD PGCert FHEA MRCVS

Equine Post-doctoral Research Fellow, Royal Veterinary College.

Dr. Mouncey will explore how early-life experiences shape long-term health, behaviour and performance in Thoroughbreds. Drawing on recent research from the Royal Veterinary College, her session will provide practical insights into how early management decisions can influence outcomes from foal to racehorse.

Dr. Martin Nielsen, DVM, PhD, DVSc, DipACVM, DipEVPC

Professor of Equine Clinical Sciences, Aarhus University, Denmark.

Widely regarded as a leading authority in parasite control, Dr. Nielsen will cover the evolving challenges of worming in modern Thoroughbred management. From resistance and diagnostics to climate, seasonality and targeted treatment strategies, his session will provide a clear, evidence-based approach tailored to mares, foals and youngstock.
