Raffle Draw Terms & Conditions

Social Media Competition 1st February to 31st March 2026.

1. Promoter

  • The promoter of this raffle draw is Saracen Horse Feeds (“the Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

  • The raffle draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
  • Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the raffle are not eligible to enter.
  • The entrants must be entering on their own behalf.
  • By entering the raffle, entrants confirm that they are eligible to do so and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  • The winner must be an experienced rider, not a novice and the training session will on the winner’s own horse or pony.

3. How to Enter

  • The entry requirements are:
    • Post a photo or reel on Instagram and or Facebook with you and a new bag design of Saracen Horse Feeds.  The image should not be in a shop. For the best creative executions an extra entry will be made.
    • Tag @SaracenHorseFeeds
    • Like the competition post on Instagram if entering via this platform
    • Follow the rider you’d like to win your lesson with on Instagram if entering on this platform.  If entering on facebook comment on the raffle post with which rider you want to train with.
  • Please note that this raffle draw is not sponsored by the specified social media platforms
  • Only entries submitted in accordance with the instructions will be accepted.
  • No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, or invalid for any reason.

Entries must be made by the midnight on the 31st March 2026.

4. The Prize

  • The prize consists of one (1) 45-minute training session with one of the following elite riders/trainers, subject to availability:
    • Becky Moody
    • Francis Whittington
    • Jesse Campbell
    • Abi Lyle
    • Hughes Dressage
    • Amy Woodhead
    • Bubby Upton (winter 2026)
    • Sam Griffiths
  • The specific rider/trainer will be chosen by the winner subject to availability and scheduling constraints.

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash or alternative prize will be offered.

5. Prize Conditions

  • The training session must be taken at a mutually agreed date, time, and at the trainer’s yard unless it is mutually agreed upon to be another location.
  • The training session will be for 45 minutes, on the winners own horse.
  • Any travel, accommodation, horse transport, stabling, insurance, or additional costs incurred by the winner are the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated.
  • The winner is responsible for ensuring that horse and rider are suitably insured and fit to participate.
  • The Promoter and the rider/trainer accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the training session, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
  • In choosing the training session, the winner will need to disclose any health or accessibility requirements, that may affect prize fulfilment. 
  • The winner must also comply with the health, safety and security policies at any venue associated with the prize.
  • If the winner is not able to attend the training session they need to provide notice 72 hours before the appointment.  They are able to change the training session time and date once.  If they are not able to attend the second appointment then the prize will be null and void.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries after the closing date.
  • The winner will be notified using direct message on the social media platform they posted on for the entry within a reasonable period following the draw.

If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Publicity

The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to check that your personal data is being processed lawfully (“subject access right”). Your subject access right can be exercised in accordance with that Act. Any subject access request must be made in writing to: Saracen Horse Feeds Ltd., The Forstal, Beddow Way, Aylesford, Kent. ME20 7BT., and may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of any personal data we hold about you.

8. Data Protection

  • Personal data supplied during the course of this raffle will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.
  • Data will be used solely for the administration of the raffle unless consent is given for further use.

9. General

To enhance your experience, the Media use “cookies.” Cookies are text files we place in your computer's browser to store your preferences. Cookies, by themselves, do not tell us your e-mail address or other personally identifiable information unless you choose to provide this information to us by, for example, registering to use the Media. However, once you choose to furnish the Media with personally identifiable information, this information may be linked to the data stored in the cookie.

10. Governing Law

1. The raffle and these Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
