A Royal Moment for Saracen

A few weeks ago at the height of Summer, our very own Lizzie Drury represented Saracen Horse Feeds at Windsor Castle to mark a milestone we’re incredibly proud of, receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
For those unfamiliar, the King’s Award is the highest official recognition a UK business can achieve. It celebrates exceptional contributions to international trade, innovation, sustainability or promoting opportunity. For us, it shines a light on decades of steady growth and partnerships that now see Saracen feeds trusted in barns, studs, and stables around the world.
Lizzie didn’t just step through the gates at Windsor Castle, she stepped in as a voice for the entire Saracen team. From nutritionists to mill operators, sales reps to export managers, it takes every one of us pulling together to earn recognition like this.

We couldn’t resist sharing a few moments from her day:
Lizzie’s visit reminds us that big moments like this only happen because of the work that goes unseen every day. From Polly Bonnor, Sam Hodge, Sue Tapp, Abi Clarabut and the many others who never waver in their dedication, to our partners and customers who place their trust in us season after season.
Being recognised with a King’s Award doesn’t mean we stand still. It means we keep doing what we do best: producing high-quality feeds, supporting horses and riders, and working in rhythm with our industry and partners worldwide.
To everyone who’s been part of this story so far – thank you. Here’s to the next mile, the next export, and the next bag that makes a difference.
