Constance Copestake
Constance is a young French event rider based in Lincolnshire.
Constance successfully events to 4* level, having posted a 5th place at Chatsworth CCI 4S and 5th in the CCI4*Lu25 at Bramham in 2019.
Having started riding at the age of 7, she progressed through the traditional of Pony Club, with the Burghley Branch where she developed her passion for eventing. From there she joined BE and progressed through the youth programmes tasting success as British Junior Champion in 2014. In 2015 she made the switch to riding for France and represented France at the 2015 European Young Rider Championships in Strzegom.
Constance is currently based at home and is producing a string of lovely young event horses. Her top horse is El Kolibri (AKA Little Ed), who she has produced from an unbroken 3 year old to a top 5 finish in the under25s at Bramham.
Constance’s objective is to progress from 4* to being a competitive 5* rider in the next few years, with the ultimate goal of a strong placing at Burghley where it all began.
